Lawn Preparation and Maintenance

To ensure the development of a healthy root system, we evaluate the condition of the soil and prepare it with new topsoil and/or compost.

Once the soil is balanced, we truck in the sod and lay it the same day using proper irrigation to prevent the sod from drying out.

We then arrange a schedule with you to keep the sod healthy during rooting.

We can also make arrangements with a subcontractor to install an irrigation system designed for your landscape.

Fixing dead, dug-up and problem areas such as weed infestation or brown or dollar spots commonly caused by chinch bugs, moles, or voles.
Some areas may involve removal of sod or soil and reapplication of topsoil, addition of compost, steps to eliminate pests or weeds, or fertilizer.
Reseeding or resodding of complete or partial areas.

Lawn Fertilization

Coupled with our regular mowing program, a fertilization program will build a thick root system that sustains lawn health against adverse and changeable weather conditions and potential diseases.

We offer many different programs specifically designed and customized to fit your needs and budget.

Basic program: One visit per year including soil testing, lime application and one application of fertilizer.

Basic Plus program: Basic program plus fall application of fertilizer.

Value program: Early spring soil test, lime depending on PH test, Weed and Feed fertilizer application. Late spring and fall fertilizer applications.

Best Value Program: Early spring soil test, lime, weed and feed fertilizer application. Late spring, summer and fall fertilization and PH adjustments.

Soil Testing and Analysis

In early spring, we will take several samples from various parts of your lawn. Levels examined are: nitrogen, phosphorus, potash and Ph. The npk to ph ratio play a vital role in plant growth just as vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates and protein do for your health.
These tests also apply to flower beds and your vegetable garden.
The results and recommended actions will be sent and discussed with you to prepare a program which is beneficial to your property as well as your budget.

We have the knowledge, sources, equipment and personnel to handle flowers, trees, and shrubs. Our experienced staff will create a beautiful outdoor setting for you or will carefully follow your designs.
